I am a PR card holder but would like to continue sailing from India. How does this affect my income taxes in Canada and India if I stay out of Canada for more than 183 days and sail in international waters for more than 183 days? Please assist.

Hi Sandeep,
If you have a valid PR and your ties to Canada are stronger than to India, you will continue to be a tax resident of Canada even if you are outside Canada for more than 183 days.
