Hi,
I'm setting up a corporation with my business partner in the US. I live in Canada (I am a British citizen in Canada on a work visa). Do you have a tax filing service for non-Canadians living in Canada with a business in the US? If so, what are you rates?
Thank you so much!
Thank you for your question. I do work with non-Canadians living in Canada and doing business in the US. I must first determine whether you are a resident of Canada or non-resident of Canada for Canadian tax purposes. To make this determination, I will refer to the tie-breaker rules contained in the UK-Canada tax treaty concerning residency of an individual. Your residency status will impact the tax structure that is best for you to avoid double taxation and limit your liability. I recommend that you book a 30-minute paid session with me for a fee of $140 + tax so that I can guide you in the right direction.
