Hi Allan,
I incorporated recently on my own and my Articles states Unlimited common shares as Classes of shares and Restrictions on share transfers as without the approval of the directors and shareholders option.

My query is, since me and my spouse are listed as the only two directors, have I made a mistake in the above two sections while incorporating, I didn't find the option to select % shares.
Do I need to file for an amendment or will it work fine? as I am planning to divide the dividends between both of us as she earns less than me for tax effectiveness.

Hi, you haven't made a mistake. The articles of incorporation do not specify who the shareholders are. You will need to prepare a corporate minute book, including share register, share transfer ledger, and share certificates. In addition, a directors resolution should be prepared for approval of the company to issue shares to the shareholders.
